Cadillac Automobile has officially released some specifications and data of the overhauled XT5 recreational model in the domestic market. The new size is larger, more luxurious and equipped with mild-hybrid light oil electric power technology.
The new-age domestic market specification Cadillac XT5 has a very American exterior design, with a large water tank shield and split headlights. According to Cadillac, the active anti-glare high beams of the new XT5 headlight set can automatically avoid pedestrians and oncoming vehicles. The side has tight lines, a floating roof design, 20 or 21-inch wheels, and a Brembo red six-piston caliper brake system. The rear is equipped with a roof guide tail, vertical taillights, Hands-Free body induction electric tailgate, and double exhaust tailpipes.
The body of the revamped Cadillac XT5 is also larger than before, with its length increased by 75mm to 4,888mm; its width increased by 54mm to 1,957mm, and the 158mm height from the ground also increased by 22mm.
Inside the cabin, inspired by Lyriq’s all-electric retreat design, features a 33-inch curved screen display, 126-color ambient lighting system, leather seats, panoramic sunroof, floating center console, air-cooled 15W wireless charging dock for smartphones, wood/aluminum trim, and control swivel buttons with a 3D Cadillac shield pattern. Buyers will also find 24 storage compartments, an AKG sound system with 15 speakers, and a new generation of digital rearview mirrors combined with a 9.3-inch display. The digital rearview mirror has a higher resolution and a 25% expanded field of view.
Cadillac Cadillac has not released much about the performance specifications and data of the Cadillac XT5, but it is confirmed that all domestic specifications of the Cadillac XT5 will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, combined with a 48V light oil-electric hybrid system and a 9-speed automatic transmission. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Cadillac XT5 will have a maximum horsepower output of 227 horsepower. The AWD four-wheel drive system of the Cadillac XT5 can transfer 100% of the power to either rear wheel, and its electronic damping suspension can be adjusted 100 times per second to provide a comfortable ride experience.
The Cadillac XT5 is equipped with 22 driver-active safety assistance systems, including ACC Active Distance Adjustment Cruise, Lane Centering, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Intersection ** Warning, Side Blind Spot Warning, and Lane Departure Warning.
